Biologix at the 5th MENA Congress for Rare Diseases

We were proud to take part in the 5th MENA Congress for Rare Diseases, held 3–5 September in Abu Dhabi; bringing together clinicians, researchers, health authorities, payers and patient organizations from across the region and beyond.

Our Market Access and Pricing Lead, Ayman Semaan, contributed to the congress panel discussions and presented "From Rarity to Priority: Advancing Rare Disease Policy and Access Pathways in the MENA Region."

MENA carries one of the world's highest burdens of rare and genetic disease. The science is advancing quickly, but it is policy that decides whether a patient reaches a therapy. Harmonised regulatory pathways, value assessment built for small populations, national registries, and a formal seat for patient voice are what turn innovation into access.
