Rare Disease Awareness Event

Biologix employees came together at the company’s offices in Dubai Science Park to talk and learn more about three Rare Diseases, the awareness days of which do take place during the month of September: atypical Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome (aHUS), Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria (PNH) & Leber Hereditary Optic Neuropathy (LHON).

The event started with a presentation led by Dr. Martin Bitzan, Head of Pediatric Nephrology Department at Al Jalila Children Hospital, and included several interactive sessions and games that facilitated further the understanding of the three diseases highlighted.
